Job description
United Tissue Resources is dedicated to meeting patient needs for allograft tissue. It is through this dedication that approximately 4,000 tissue grafts are distributed to area hospitals annually for life-saving surgeries and what drives us to provide bereavement support to assist donor families during their grief.

To perform and support administrative and operational accounting requirements for United Tissue Resources including billing, accounts payable and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities:

• Perform tissue Distribution Services billing functions; which includes but is not limited to, price verification, obtain purchase order (P.O.) from ordering facility, reconcile and submit to Accounting invoices with P.O., and assign P.O. for purchased tissue with contracted vendors.
• Participate in maintenance and monitoring of current pricing established by all contracted vendors for customer accounts.
• Using the Tissue Distribution software, support the weekly billing process through compilation, review and report submittal to Accounts Payable.
• Participate in vendor purchase order and inventory replenishment process.
• Assist Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Tissue Administration to reconcile any item pricing and payment discrepancies with hospital and vendor accounts.
• Support month end usage reports for vendor and hospital accounts.
• Active interaction with internal and external Shared Service Partners and Vendor accounting departments.
• Back up support to Tissue Administration for compilation and verification of weekly special pay amounts of Tissue Donor and Distribution Services, and coding of Tissue Administration invoices and expenditure requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
• High School diploma or GED is required, college degree is preferred.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of bookkeeping and/or accounting experience
is preferred.
Must be organized and able to work with limited supervision.
• Must be able to perform data entry accurately and maintain a high level
of attention to detail with documentation and performance of assigned
tasks.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrate math proficiency.
• Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Requires excellent organizational skills.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and timely on all aspects of
required responsibilities.
• Must be able to meet required responsibility deadlines as assigned.
• Must have strong attention to detail.
